1.jpg

Two new series of press bearings from SDP/SI feature Teflon-filled acetal or oil-impregnated sintered bronze bearings. Uses include motors, power tools, medical devices, computer periphals, etc. Press bearings are self-lubricating and self-aligning up to +/-50. They allow the use of metal from 0.04" to 0.06" with punched or drilled panel holes. The 7Z40 Series of sintered bronze units are stocked in six sizes with bearing IDs ranging from 0.126" to 0.501". Maximum heights vary from .315" to .670". Maximum radial loads range from 65-600 lb. Retainers are stored in either zinc-plated carbon steel or 300 stainless steel. Maximum speed runs from 5,100 to 20,000 rpm. The A7Z43 Series of Teflon-filled acetal units are stocked in six sizes with bearing IDs ranging from 0.189-501. Maximum heights range from .250" to .705". Maximum radial load ranges from 28-320 lb. Retainers are also stored in zinc-plated carbon steel or 300 stainless steel. Maximum speed runs from 3,300 to 13,000 rpm. The acetal bearing material is not affected by solvents and offers an improved corrosion resistance when supplied with stainless steel.
