Schaeffler Bigband has been an integral part of the Schaeffler company for more than 14 years and performs on national and international stages. The musical repertoire includes a colorful mix of classical big band swing à la Glenn Miller, jazzy pieces, latin american music, up to evergreens and modern charts. In the run-up to Christmas, the 25-member band, led by Holger Bock, will give two charity concerts in Erlangen and Herzogenaurach. "In our Advent concerts, we take the listeners on a musical journey and together we agree on a contemplative and peaceful Christmas season," explains Holger Bock.

Concerts in Erlangen and Herzogenaurach
On December 7th, the band performs in the church Heilig Kreuz in Erlangen-Bruck. Admission is from 5 pm, the event starts at 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance in the parish office, Langfeldstra?e 36 in Erlangen, and on Saturdays and Sundays before and after the services.

On December 8, the Big Band invites you to St. Magdalena in Herzogenaurach. Admission is also here from 17 clock, the concert starts at 18 clock. Advance sales take place in Herzogenaurach in the shops "W & W Optik", "Fischer Moden" as well as in "Bücher, Medien & mehr". There will be a box office on both days of the event.

Proceeds will be donated
The proceeds from the ticket sales of the two concerts come to charity. On the one hand, it will support reconstruction measures for a barrier-free community center of the Heilig Kreuz church in Erlangen-Bruck and, on the other hand, consider the Herzogenaurach child fund. After both concerts, there will be a mulled wine bar and time for social gatherings.
