Director of the Olomouc company Koyo Bearings ?eská republika sro, Petr Novák, accepted a job offer for the position of General Manager of the Global Acceleration Team, which is included in the Corporate Planning department at the headquarters of JTEKT Corporation in Nagoya. KB Novák will continue to hold the position of President of KBCZ after the new job is accepted.

The organizational structure of the Olomouc company will be a major change with effect from 1 July. Petr Novák, who has been head of the Olomouc company since 2008, has taken a position in the headquarters of the multinational corporation JTEKT, headquartered in Nagoya, Japan. This will become the first member of the management at JTEKT headquarters, which is not of Japanese nationality. This headquarters has over 50,000 employees, 65 factories worldwide and sales of up to $ 13 billion. "It is an incredible honor for me. In Japan, the principle of seniority is applied, which for many means waiting for several decades in such a high-ranking position. she had to give up her life here in the Czech Republic, so I took enough time for the final decision. the mission of which is to introduce and standardize the new regional management system (Japan, Asia, Europe, USA) of the JTEKT corporation, followed by all production sites and branches worldwide. This management system should, inter alia, determine the autonomy of individual regions, production sites, their competence, responsibilities and reporting. 

Petr Novák studied at the University of Pennsylvania, International Business and Finance, and at the MBA at De Paul University in Chicago, Illinois. In 1998 he began working in the US for the first company owner, the US multinational company Ingersoll Rand. In 2001 he moved to the Czech Republic, where he stood at the foundation and construction of the current plant. From 2001 to 2004 he worked as CFO. He then became Logistics Manager, where he remained until 2006. He then worked as Production Manager for two years. In 2008 he became director of the Olomouc plant. Six years later, in 2014, he was appointed President of Koyo Bearings Czech Republic. Petr Novák is a member of the Board of Directors of the Automotive Industry Association of the Czech Republic; is a member of the Regional Council for Innovation and Education in the Olomouc Region and also a member of the school council of the Secondary Engineering School in Olomouc. He is also a member of the Academic Council of the Moravian College, an active member of the Industry and Transport Association and a lecturer at Palack? University. At the same time, he works in the Industrial Council at the Faculty of Science, UP. Petr Novák will keep these activities for the time being, which may change due to time usage.
