18 different training occupations and 12 dual study programs

For a young person, the new training year at Schaeffler's Morbach site has begun professional life as an industrial mechanic in the industrial-technical sector.



Heiko Burgard, Head of Training and Human Resources Officer in Morbach, welcomed the new trainee on his first day: "With an apprenticeship you are well prepared for the further professional career. As a highly qualified employee, you will be able to shape the future of the company. There is an instructive and exciting time ahead of you. "Plant manager Lars Haufschild and works council chairman Rudi Marx also had tips for starting and continuing their careers at Schaeffler.



The first days at Schaeffler



The first days of apprenticeship at Schaeffler are mainly used to familiarize with processes and the new working environment. On September 10, the new trainees from all Schaeffler locations in Germany will be invited to Herzogenaurach for the company's headquarters to lay the foundations for a future network.



Qualification for tomorrow with modern training initiatives



Trends and topics such as e-mobility, Industry 4.0 and digitization are changing the products and organizational processes at Schaeffler. As part of the "Agenda 4 plus One" future program, there is the "Qualification for Tomorrow" initiative. Several building blocks interlock here: For example, all Schaeffler instructors throughout Germany have gone through an intensive additional qualification program to make the training even more target group-oriented. This includes planning, applying new learning methods and the use of modern media. The special feature: The apprentices are involved here as actors and designers, also at the Morbach site.



Great training offer at Schaeffler



Currently, the Morbach site trains a total of seven young people. Throughout Germany, Schaeffler offers training at the highest level to around 1,500 young people at 22 locations. The technology company offers training in 18 industrial-technical or commercial occupations as well as the possibility of twelve different dual study programs.
