The NSK academy online training platform now includes the first in a new series of maintenance tutorial modules, which demonstrate how to employ the range of maintenance and service tools offered through NSK's AIP+ Added Value Program. The tutorial's focus is on how the optimized and profitable operation of machinery and equipment can be realized. Each module is accompanied by a course, video, and questionnaire, and trainees obtain a certificate upon completion. Each module's video tutorial is designed to demonstrate clearly and concisely how these specially developed tools can maximize machine performance and operational longevity. The initial AIP+ tool to feature is LAB-Set, a laser alignment tool for belts that stands out by being mounted in the actual pulley V-grooves where the belt runs, ensuring consistent perfect alignment. Other tutorials to be launched in coming months include those for a laser alignment tool for shafts (LAS-Set), induction heaters, and bearing mounting/extraction tools.
