The wheel is ideal for driving schools, club racers and autocross participants, as it sports the same advanced wheel technology and unique style that has made Forgeline a key player in the market.

The VX1-R wheel is a worthy successor to Forgeline’s highly popular GS1R race wheel, with its one-piece forged monoblock construction and a motorsport engineered Y-spoke design notable for the severe angles and chamfered machining details. The design allows racers plenty of room for caliper clearance and extreme brake fitment and facilitates faster wheel changes. The wheel is strong enough to withstand the rigors of motorsport competition. It is light in weight, has very low deflection under load and is highly fatigue-resistant with a 2,100 lb. street-tire load rating. In fact, the wheel has additional material machined from the center for greater weight reduction and better access to the lugs. This makes it perfect for the track. The VX1-R does not accept a center cap.
Forgeline’s new VX1-R wheel is machined from a single forging of 6061-T6 aluminum for light-weight strength, durability, and exceptional competitive driving performance in 18, 19 and 20-inch diameters with a range of widths and offsets. Depending on the size, the race wheel is available either in shallow or deep concave profiles. Many attractive finish options, including red, blue and tinted gold are available in addition to the widely available silver, graphite and black powder coat finishes.
Forgeline fully utilized its 20 plus years of racing experience to come up with a product like the VX1-R racing wheel. The fully-forged one-piece monoblock wheel was created with the company’s computer-simulated FEA design process, which optimizes quality and strength-to-weight ratio to develop a forged wheel that is 40 per cent stronger than one made of cast aluminum.
