Mahle Aftermarket has expanded its product range and launched 150 new part numbers, including 77 new gasket numbers. The new parts are available for a wide range of pistons, gaskets, valves, filters, pistons, piston rings, engine bearings and turbochargers. They are available in light and heavy duty applications.
The new part numbers are available for several categories like timing cover gasket sets, water pump gaskets, valve cover gasket sets, intake and exhaust valves, cylinder head gaskets, camshafts, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, oil pan gasket sets, turbocharger gaskets, throttle body gaskets, EGR valve gaskets, pistons and piston rings, turbochargers, oil and air filters, individual and main bearing sets, and connecting rod bearings.
Speaking about the new parts and part numbers, Jon Douglas, general manager at Mahle Aftermarket North America said that Mahle Aftermarket has continued to expand its complete line of parts for light vehicle and heavy duty applications, especially in the range of Mahle Original gaskets. He said that products belonging to the MAHLE Original range have the same quality as original equipment quality, and this is what customers have come to expect when buying products belonging to this range.”
Products belonging to the Mahle Original range were initially sold under the Victor Reinz brand and the company renamed the brand as Mahle original at the AAPEX 2016 show in Las Vegas in order to highlight its commitment to provide customers with OE level quality.
The company also announced its plans to launch the “Drive with the Original” promotion in fall. The grand prize winner of the promotion will get a custom-built, twin-turbocharged Mahle Mustang. The winner will be announced at the 2017 edition of the AAPEX show.
