ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport: highly motivated in South America
After the Las Vegas eRace spectacle at the beginning of January, Formula E is back to points-scoring this weekend (February 18). The venue for the third race of the 2016/2017 season is Buenos Aires.

The memories from Buenos Aires ePrix are positive ones: last season, ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport driver Lucas di Grassi took home one of his seven podiums with a third place finish. The Brazilian and his German teammate Daniel Abt have also made a successful start to the 2016/2017 season. After two of twelve races, ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport occupy second place in both the teams’ and drivers’ rankings. In the Argentinian capital, the first points of 2017 will be scored on the circuit that runs through the trendy neighborhood of Puerto Madero.

Buenos Aires is not just important for Schaeffler in sporting terms, but commercially as well. The resident sales company Schaeffler Argentina S.r.l. is driving the sales business right on site – an office is located only ten kilometers away from the race track. Interestingly, for some years, companies in Buenos Aires have been asked to report on the sustainability of their activities. Schaeffler will discuss this issue within the context of the Buenos Aires ePrix.

The entire race day – free practice, qualifying and race – take place on one day in Formula E. Daniel Abt and Lucas di Grassi will get underway on Saturday at 8.00 am local time (12.00 pm CET), and the race starts at 4.00 pm local time (8.00 pm CET). Eurosport will broadcast all the races in Germany live; the program from Buenos Aires starts on Saturday at 7.45 pm CET. Schaeffler also presents the Formula E magazine, which will be on Eurosport on February 22 from 10.00 pm.
